Co-own and guardian homes allow us to expand our breeding program beyond the number of dogs we can reasonably keep here at home. By utilizing co-own and guardian homes, our dogs can be the center of attention in their home while remaining a part of the breeding program. These programs are ideal for those who wish to own a top-quality dog at a reduced cost, in return for allowing us to continue using the dog in our breeding program. We typically use these homes for male dogs, but will consider them for females on occasion.

CO-OWN HOMES

These homes receive a puppy or an adult dog at a reduced price, but we expect them to title the dog in shows and/or sports. We generally prefer co-own homes to be within the state of Illinois, but we will consider homes that are further away if they are experienced in competing in dog shows and/or sports. Co-own homes can be new people seriously committed to getting more seriously involved in the "dog world," or co-own homes can even be established breeders.

GUARDIAN HOMES

These homes also receive a puppy or an adult dog at a reduced price, but are better for pet families that are nearby to our kennel. These homes must be within 90 minutes of Mt Pulaski, IL. We ask that these homes allow us to take the dog to earn its show champion title and for health testing with our vet. After the contract is fulfilled, the initial purchase price will be returned to the family.

In either case, the exact terms can be adjusted to fit the needs of both parties in the situation. The dogs must be fed a high quality raw or kibble diet, and be kept up to date on all vaccines and preventatives.
