About Furrari
Furrari is the matriarch of Fireside Fernweh and embodies everything our program strives to produce. Furrari is from Jean Reeves // Royal Acres in Indiana, USA, but both of her parents are from Sophie Lefebvre // P'tits Loups D'Amour in Belgium. Furrari is a granddaughter of famous male, 2013 World Winner, 2014 Veteran World Winner, CIB MCH Azimut Ortus (Russia) and granddaughter of amazing short coated male, MCH Omar Sharif Biale Wzrgorza BH-VT FPR3 IPO1 (Poland).
Furrari is an insanely social dog--in her whole life, she has never met even one person she hasn't liked. She has a strong will to please and has been a very easy dog to train. While she has good food and toy drive, her real love to work comes from her strong relationship with her handler. Furrari is remarkably intelligent also, which, paired with her will to please, desire for relationship, and medium drives, has made her an once-in-a-lifetime sport partner.
When I got Furrari, breeding was a possibility but it was merely a thought at the back of my mind. All I truly wanted was another dog to train and do sports with. However, upon realizing how few White Swiss Shepherds matched her sociability, breathtaking conformation, and flawless health results, it was clear that Furrari needed to contribute to the genepool. And thus, Fireside Fernweh was born.
Furrari is now retired from breeding, but her legacy lives on through her many progeny, including our Enzo, Lumen, Indy, and Sparrow. We are SO grateful for everything she has given us <3
