OFA is responsible for most of our health testing (hips, elbows, dentition, cardiac, thyroid, eyes) and offers a public database where people can verify results by searching dogs by their registered name or number.
PennHIP also evaluates the hip joints, but it uses three views instead of one, and measures the hip joint laxity which can predict the development of hip dysplasia.
FCPR is a member of FCI, and is our registration body for WSS in the USA since they are not recognized by AKC. FCPR allows us to maintain full registration in the USA.
While UKC calls our dogs "White Shepherds," they are the largest all breed organization in the USA which allows us to compete separately from German Shepherds.
WSAVA has set guidelines for pet owners to utilize when choosing a food for their dog or other pet. We recommend only using foods that meet these guidelines to insure their pet receives all necessary nutrients from their food.
